Default 35shot nitrous with Whipple?

I have a 2500hd 6.0L with a Whipple with 6lb boost. I might want to add a small amount of nitrous, maybe 35 shot. If I decide to, exactly what kit do I use?

Im in the same boat. From what Ive gathered its best to use a dry kit and maybe a LSI timing tuner. I need to get a scan tool for air fuel ratio's. Let me know what you go with for tuning

i used a nx wet kit taped right into the whipple elbow right before the intake. a 35shot feels REAL good too.

in my oponion a wet kit sprayed at that location is alot better than a dry kit, you would have to spray a dry kit into the air filter box and that is before the blower, after the blower will do alot more good at reducing intake temps.

Ok, thanks for the info. Parish8, when I change out the stock fuel injectors and put on the 8.1L marine injectors, won't the blower have to come off first? Also, what do I use to cap off the lines where the aux injectors are?

i think you can change the injectors without pulling the blower, it is a little tight on the one side is all.

you can just unplug the electrical part and leave the rest if ya want. you can also take off the fuel lines to the whipple set up too if ya want. either way is fine, i left the injectors sitting there though.

ok, is there really an advantage to going with 42lb injectors? I was talking to one of Whipple's techs the other day and he said it was a waste of money.

the more you do to your truck the more important it will be, if you just have a whipple on a mostly stock truck thn their set up probably does an ok job of adding fuel, if your going to get serious under the hood then you will want to dump them and get the tuning stuff you need to get the fueling right on.

the problem with the whipple stuff is you have no way to control them.
