well how hard is it im about to buy a truck and the motor has 226000 miles so i want to be ready for a motor swap.

Also will it bolt up to a 4l80 with a 4x4

As much as I hate linking to other forums. There is a dedicated section on ls1trucks to converting to the LS motor and many people there have done it.

It's a 5.7 TBI to 6.0 swap, but alot of good info there. His current project is putting a '07 DOD flexfuel 5.3 and 6L80E into a '95 Yukon.

i will save this but that 454 runs so good it might last another 100000 miles
