Default 35 or 50 shot nitrous. EXACTLY which system?

I am again thinking of adding a small shot of nitrous to my Whipplecharged 6.0L. Anyone who has done this, can you tell me EXACTLY which kit I should buy?

I suggest a wet kit for a GM with the braided fuel line that hooks directly
up to your schrader valve. the kit is $439.95 and they are in stock

Yeah what brand nitrous and which part number? For a new wet kit that seems like a really good price

denali, i think we should get your truck running right before you start adding nitrous to the mix. you may not even need it once your truck is dialed in. if the problem your having is related to not enough fuel pressure and you shoot nitrous into an already lean system you can kiss your motor goodbye. better to spend the $ on a logging program, and see what's happening in there first. or am i thinking of a different denali ?. e

etc, thats me, DanaliHD. I know. I just saw his prices and thought they seemed low. I just emailed allen about the probs i'm having. I think it's just TM. It seems to be running fine now other than the KR of up to 7 and my spark drops to 2. Not cool. well, that's my next point, it's not cool. I think I need alcohol injection. What do you think?

I've seen those kits on eBay but just was unsure of the quality. How is that kit? No stuck solenoids or anything? Does it seem like it's good quality?

well i just put a smaller pulley on a little over a week ago. allen was out of town, actually he was right near me but i did'nt know until he went home, so my tune is iffy right now. anyway i'm not having any heat related problems at 8 psi. your spark advance while under 8 psi of boost will look anemic compared to a n/a or low boost engine. so far i've had to drop my wot advance 5 degrees. as boost goes up timing must go down, which does'nt mean your not gaining power. baically when you add boost you are artificially raising compression by stuffing a larger air/fuel charge in the cylinder which raises the probability for predetonation. while adding an intercooler or alc inj lowers the intake charge temp and the chance of detonation, from what i've seen on this site, unless your running a cam and over 8 psi of boost it isn't necessary. what are you running on your cooling system ? mines in my sig. lowering overall heat ie; engine temp, underhood temp, intake temp. can affect your ability to advance timing. my intake temps are almost always within a few degrees of ambient temp due to my intake, i also attribute some of it to the ceramic coated headers and e-fans/t-stat and coolant mix. if your intake temps are high to start with they only get hotter as the air is compressed.your head/cylinder temp is also affected by these things, so essentially the cooler you can keep your overall temp the more timing you can add without detonation. before i'd get alc inj i'd run octane booster to see if that calmed it down. i believe i'm going to stay here [8psi] for now so i don't have to hassle with alc. inj or an intercooler. e . p.s again, i'd get the tune sorted out first, if you start adding more pieces to the puzzle it's that much harder to put together. get it good first, then add mods. then allen will know where to go from there.
