Old thread, but since I couldn't find it listed anywhere else...
here's the part # for the extra bolts required:
GM 11516931

Old thread, but a really good one.
If you can expand out to the 34 inch core on the radiator, you gain a LOT of added cooling via heat transfer if using an OEM radiator.
Other than different bolts, how did any one handle the fan shroud being the wrong size? Did you change up to the 34 inch shroud or change to dual electric fans?

I'd be all about seeing pictures of how you get the larger radiator installed...

Given we have both the 28 and 34 inch radiator in 3 row all aluminums, we have enough options for those looking for extreme cooling,, but not interested in making mods.

Check out the 28 inch via SKU 229095and the 34 inch via SKU 222920

On the GMT-800 (99-06) trucks there are three sets of bolts on the core support. Inner for the shroud then the 28" then the 34" on the outside. I'm not sure about a shroud for the 34" radiator as most do the e-fans when swapping the 28" to the 34". The newer trucks 07+ with the heavy duty cooling system have an extra fan blade on both the fans. These newer fans bolt directly to the 99-06 trucks and fit perfectly with no mods necessary.

28"

Didn't you have a problem with the power steering cooler lines?
