Default 34" Radiator bolt in replacement for 28"???

I have a 2002 Silverado w/a 28" radiator and want to replace it with a 34" when I put in the e fan. I believe it bolts right in. Correct?

No modification, completly easy, direct bolt in. You will need a couple extra bolts cause the fan shroud will now bolt in where the 28" rad did.

Dealer should have them too, like $6 for the pair I think. Or $6 each. I forget.

That'll be a great mod. To be honist, I purchased this 06 with E fans and was worried to death about them. Normally 10 to 13 miles of my afternoon commute is bumper to bumper on the highway. The first day I was in traffic I watched the temp guage like a hawk with the a/c cranked just to see. It did not move. It also feels much better taking off, no power draw from the fan spinning to cool the engine. It should also be noted, the vehicle also warms up much faster. I'm sold on e fans.

I might be talking out my *** on this but doesn't the bigger 34" raditor need more hood clearance?? Like the HD hood??
Just thought I remembered hearing that on the site.

Negative, height is the exact same as the 27 incher. there are already bolt holes in the radiator support bracket too for the wider one. Direct bolt-in swap, very easy to do.
