Default 310 hp 5.3 questions.

One of my friends just bought an extended cab Z-71 with the aluminum 310 hp 5.3. What kind of times have you guys seen stock out of these trucks. It doesn't feel nearly as strong as my LBZ duramax stock. Maybe we will have to race to find out. It only has 29k miles on it and it pinged just a hair when getting on it. Do you think Seafoaming it would help any?

i dont think that seafoaming it could ever hurt, but that sounds more like an exhaust leak. it seems unlikely since the truck is so new but anything is possible.

When I had mine, the best time it ever ran was a 15.7 @ 88MPH, But this was at 4,000ft and about 85 degs. I had a tune, cai, and Aerochamber. But this was done in 4Lo

I don't have any track times but I did put mine on a dynojet and had 268 hp and 313tq with just a catback, intake and crappy superchips tune.

I ran 14.6 at 94. that was my 222/224/112 with a cai, and catback. On 373s and a Zippy tune, stock tires. 75-80 degrees
