6.0 + FloProHD = no resonance or drone.

 

Sorry if this sounds stupid. What is a FloProHD?

Are sure that will hold true with no cats? My magnaflow had no drone at all until I added the LT's and got rid of the cats.

 

Is the drone caused from having no cats with LTs?

 

Well I got the Cones installed and I did notice a reduction in resonance in the truck. I also noticed a little less harsh exhaust note. I am also going to install a resonance tip on the end of the pipe to further tune the exhaust note.

 

I should get my cone tomorow. I just ordered one so hopefully it does the trick.

 

I ran catless for awhile. It had no drone or resonance, but I didn't care for the sound. It was quite a bit louder than I wanted and had that "tin can" sound to it which I didn't care for.

I will let you know what happens. If all goes well I will install the cone tonight.

I believe the drone is mainly caused by not having cats and to some degree the LT's. And here is a link to the muffler I think he is talking about. http://www.flopro.com/FP2500oval.htm
