my compression will be 10.6:1. I'm assuming that should make it idle smoother. TSP was saying I might have problems pushing thru the brakes with the stock stall

More comp will make for a chopier idle, just due to the comp.. I can feel the brakes get soft on me some times, with this and my 3200.. Not a prob thowe

maybe I should step down to the tr224

The issue of the sloppy brakes concerns me because I tow occasionally and that's not a good thing if the brakes get weak (poor vacuum). Since I'll have the ported heads maybe it would be wiser to not go as agressive on the cam.

I run 228/230 112 cam and no problem with brakes, it will take some time to tune it in and a 3600+ stall
