Little big. I had a 222/224 112lsa in my 5.3 and it needed about a 3500 stall to really ge tthe most out of it. Driveablitly was alright but it needed more stall than I had. If it was me I would go with the TR220 everyone is having good results with it and seems to run good with a 3000 stall.

NOt very good. Not worth messin with IMO. There are some patriot stage 2 heads for like 1200 no core that are pretty good. Its not worth pulling them unless you are going to put a ported set on IMO. The TR220 would scream with a 3200 stall or the cam I had. I will have it for sale by this weekend when I tear down my 5.3. I just noticed that you are a 2wd rclb, my truck weighs about 800 more #s than yours so you could get away with the cam I had.

If it's a good deal,. I say go for it. Have someone you can go to for tuning though, don't try and mail order tune a cam that size.
