Default 212/218 with rockers?

Can I run 1.85" rocker arms with my cam (see sig). Would there be any noticable improvments with them or is it not worth the trouble.
Thanks

I thought most use the 1.8's. But yes you will see a nice gain with them. I dont know if you will feel a difference. But Im sure you will see it on a dyno or your time slip! Yella Terras are nice. Expensive but nice! I think Harland-Sharp is coming out with some LS1 shaft mount rollers pretty soon. I hear they will retail for like $300 or so bucks.

sure you could....but it might have been cheaper in the long run (and might still be cheaper) to order the cam with the higher lift to begin with.....

Call Compcams and ask them, they make a 1.85 rocker I'm sure they could tell exactly what to expect from the combo.I think it would be fine you'd have faster ramps with about .560 lift.why not?

This is one of the few cams they say will work well with the big rockers. Much bigger and the ramp rates are to steep and will bend pushrods and break springs.

FLYER what kind of a lope would i expect from that setup (212/218 522/529 114Lsa)
or can i get that in a 112 for more lope?

Here is a clip someone posted a while back of that cam on a 114. This is the warm idle after a tune I think. I'm not real sure though, maybe the owner will chime in.

A 112 will definantly give you ore lope. It may be slightly more of a lope than in the clip since it's a 4.8 rather than a 5.3.
