Default 2013 supercharged 6.2- not overly impressed...... anyone else have one?

just bought a 2103 gmc with a 6.2l and a magna charger running a 3.30 pulley (5-6psi) not real impressed with the power, they claim 540hp but it seems pretty sluggish for 540hp. as a second note it doesn't seem to really come on tell 120km/h... anyone have the same set up and have some feed back thanks

Allot of it depends on the tune, maybe 540 flywheel HP. And who is they?

"They" probably just installed and put the hand held programmer on it, or whoever tuned it, did a poor job.

the gm dealer put it on and its just running a sct programer on it that magnuson programmed, it feels to me like the throttle is being tuned out tell higher gears....or its bypassing tell it gets into some higher boost pressures, never heard of the bypass giving problems? he also told me the new trucks have a throttle delay from factory that can be tuned out, maybe i should start there

get you live tune, it will pick up a lot. Ive ridden in a few supercharged trucks, and they all pull hard.

Like stated, get a real tune. The delay is in throttle by wire.

I'm kind of going through the same thing with mine right now too... dealer installed supercharger still under warranty. Mine was VERY disappointing when we first brought it home, since then it feels like it has picked up.

I'm at lsfest right now and consistantly ran 14.02-14.15 all weekend long... doesn't sound very impressive for what my truck is but I know its got more in it. Plus it's hot af here right now lol.

One thing I will suggest is turn the traction control/stabilitrak off (hold the button down for 7 seconds), mine runs like **** with it on.

i was leaning towards the tune, my old man has a supercharged 5.3 and it pulls way harder off the hop and has a custom tune, is there any tuner that is more specific to magnuson?

Make a trip to westers and get a dyno tune there. They are in alberta. It should really wake it up.
