I also agree on purchasing a different cam, I would suggest a cam in the 220/220 range. Also like stated above get a custom tune! And last but not least look over to the right and check out our sponsors, they have everything you need at great prices.
you may be able to find a good cam in the classified section as well!

thanks for all of the replys guys.
when you guys say custom tune,do you mean a mail order tune,or a custom street tune by a shop.i was gonna go to allan futral at futral motorsports and let him do a street tune on my truck.the spe programmer helped my truck a bit from what it was stock, but it still feels sluggish.also will the l/t's and o/r y pipe hurt my gas mileage any?i appreciate all the help guys.

A dyno or street tune will be worlds better thasn any programmer, I say go for it. As far as gas milage.......you're in the for that concern

Keep your foot out of it, if you can! More efficient = more efficient = more fun with pedal down.

As For The Long Tubes Install Its Very Easy Passenger Side All You Do Is Take The Plug Wires And Oil Dipstick You Can Leave The Plugs On Header Installs Thru The Bottom. As For The Driver Take The Plugs And The Wires Off Also The Steering Shaft And Move It To The Side Toward The Fender And Also The Vacuum Line That Goes To The Brake Booster. After All That Feed The Header Thru The Top. It Will Go A Lot Easier If You Go This Way. Reinstall Everything Back Except The On The Steering Shaft Has To Be Cut-off Or Install Another Nut And Your Ready To Go........as For Tune Go With A Hp Tuner

The truck just seems so much stronger now. Get a custom tune. Handhelds are worthless IMO. I had one and it doesn't compare to a custome tune.
