Hello, I have a 2500HD with the 6.0 vortex. My model has the fly by wire throttle body, also it does not have a fuel return line.

I have the opportunity to buy a 6.0 vortex out of a 2002 2500HD. This has the older style throttle cable to the throttle body and a fuel return line.

My question is, can I simply swap my fly by wire manifold over to the 2002 vortex motor?

If so are there any other gremlins I need to watch out for.

Thank you in advance for any advice on this matter.

You can swap the intake manifolds without issue

Yes you can swap the manifolds.

The oil pressure sensor is also different.
