Default 2004 Tire Pressure sensor

Hello,

Is it possible to disengage the tire pressure monitor? I just placed a set of aftermarket wheels on my Tahoe and didn't realize there was a sensor till I got the Check tire pressure message on my dash.

Thanks

I don't know if there is a way to disable it or not. I was at the dealership a couple days ago and someone brought in a new 04 Yukon with the same problem as yours. They said they had to take each wheel off the truck and deflate each tire 10lbs and then inflate them 10lbs and that would take care of the problem.
