Hello everyone. I've got a 2004 5.3L, ext cab, short bed Silverado that I'm wanting to get more power out of. I'm looking for ideas how to accomplish this task. Where should I start first? Any suggestions, ideas, brands, or anything else that may help will be greatly appreciated.

basic bolt ons man intake, exhaust, tune and you will see a pretty good gain.

 

Volant, K&N, or AEM intake
ASM LT headers

those are the basic first mods... of coarse exhaust work also(mufflers)

 

go big, get a heads/cam package from MTI or something and then slap a 150 shot on it. you'll see some significant gains.

 

Intake, longtubes, change muffler, get it tuned.

 

I'm really looking for low end and mid range torque and power. Any suggestions on what to do to get thiese results?
