Just bring back the days when you could order any vehicle with any motor or tranny that you wanted, whatever rear end you wanted, and delete all the crap that you dont want.

they just need to add the 6.0 as an option on the regular cab and then we could handle the rest.reg cab sportside bed with only options being the 6.0 and a 3.73 posi.probably 22000.00 and it would still be two or three tenths slower than a lightning.

Anybody guess how much it would cost to get the EXACT SAME things that the SS reg. cab has on a regular 2002 or 2003? I plan on getting a reg cab chevy but Im gonna end up putting a 6.0 or a better engine. If I get the 2002 I wanna make it exactly like the 2000 SS Silverado concept. If I get a 2003 Ill make it like the one here.

Chevy will never build any thing close to that, Edelbrock mufflers? dual cats? ls6 heads? 6-speed?Less we forget what we really got, a ex-cab SS?????????????????????????Huh is it just me or those SVT boys Laughing their *** off first because they shut down camaro production all together and now this 5,000 lb. disgrace that is the SS. I love GM to death but I really wish they would step up to the plate on this one.

I was thinking. Do y'all think we can get chevy to create this beast by "popular demand"? We can get LOTS of people to call, write, e-mail and just kick them in the face until we get a good response? We could give them IDEAS ON HOW TO MAKE IT! Would it be worth it? EVERYtime I get a GM "How's our product" questionare I ask why I can't get a std with at least the 5.3 Never get a response. I guess they don't care about the few of us who don't want a station wagon.
