Question 2002 4.3L leaking coolant out of the hoses at the oil pan / bellhousing

My neighbor has a 2002 full size with a 4.3l and has been loosing coolant. It seems to be leaking out of two drain tubes sandwiched between the bellhousing and the oil pan.

anyone have any experience with this? i would guess the rear freeze plug but i have never dealt with the 4.3L.

thanks

Probably intake gaskets leaking they are notorious for leaking.

+1, very, very common on the 4.3's (I replaced the intake gaskets on my 96 Blazer this past summer). The intake gaskets are probably leaking in the rear and running down the back of the block.
