This is my first post, but I have been reading for about 3 weeks now. I was wondering if anyone has converted their 5.3 silverado to the 8.1? If so what was involved? <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

 

Pull out the engine and put in the 8.1. The 8.1 is not based on the LS1 design. So not much of anything will interchange.
