2000 Sierra 5.3
#1
Hi everyone,
Just got a 2000 GMC Sierra about a month ago and ran accross this forum.
It is a very informative place and thanks for all the posts on mods.
My truck is a Z71 4x4 RC Sports side bed 5.3 Auto with 410 gears.
My question is what 1/4 mile ET's could I expect with stock airbox,
K&N air filter, 160 degree Thermostat, Hypertech programmer and aftermarket
Cat back exhaust. I don't have a bunch of cash to put into mods.
The only mod I have done is the K&N airfilter, so far.
Want to keep truck as a daily driver, and will use on long trips in summer.
Thank you

I would have to say low 16's high 15's. Launch in 4wd hi. Those 4.10 with 4 wheel drive wheel put a kick in your pants. Also you can do so many mods to these and still use them as a daily driver. theirs multiple people running these trucks into the 12's and drive them everyday in traffic and the country.
