Default 2000 and 2006 stock Y pipes

Does a 2000 Silverado y pipe bolt right up to a 2006?

Idk from experience but from being under a lot of them (not paying attention to just that)I would think so. Why do you ask?

Because I gutted the cats off the 2000 and was wanting to put them on the 06 until I got around to getting some long tubes for it... They look the same other than the cats so idk

Guess there's only one way to find out for sure! Just didn't want to drop the torsion bars and y for no reason. Hopefully someone chimes in on this!

I would imagine. I put a Jegs Y pipe on my 02 Avalanche that was said to fit 99-00 applications. As long as they didn't change the manifold design you should be good.

You don't have to drop the T-bars to get the Y-pipe out. You drop the trans crossmember which is a slick 6-bolt operation.

I have a 7" pro comp on the truck, there's no way of getting the y out without dropping one or both of the t-bars. I still haven't tried the swap. 30* sucks
