My local 1/8th mile track opened for test and tune Sat. Since my '02 truck is down right now I decided to take the work truck just to see what it could do. I ended up running 8.81 at 81 on a 60ft of 2.16 I had to baby it off the line since the Auburn posi is trashed and insists on doing the 1 wheel peel. This is with the 3.08 gears too. With some 3.73's and some traction I think it will go 8.50 Not too bad for an old beater.

Speedy, yeah it is actually low to mid 13 material, the ET dont show it 'cause of traction. V8-no thanks, drivin a sleeper like this is too cool. Can't find a hemi and believe me, i've been hunting! There is a rcsb in the next town up the road thats supposed to be the fastest one around here. Has some mods, not sure what. He is the one I am gunning for. After I spank him I am gonna talk all kinds of trash about not even bothering to go get my other truck!
