Default 1999 tahoe

Hey guys I just baught a 1999 chevy tahoe with the 5.7 vortec 350 ive already put a 6 inch fabtech lift on it but now im looking to performance.
I am coming over from the ls1 website, but anyways what options do i have i was thinking a programmer..Hypertech...Jet.......etc.. whats the best and im putting some exhaust on it probobaly flowmaster because i cant find anyone who sells a dual exhaust system for it that will exit in the rear. It has 3.73 gears in it and will be turning 35/12.50/20s now im not looking for it to be as fast as my TransAm but i would like to put the fear in the dodges and fords and well of course all the ricers . As far as money goes i am limited to about 1000$ right now and all installs will be by me so no laber cost. Oh yeah one more question will my old LS1 heads bolt up to it ?? probably not but if they will let me know.
thanks

For the tune dont get one of those shitty hypertech ones. Get a custom tune like Nelson, wait4me might make one for the OBS but I really have no idea. I think a custom tune is atleast $500.

The exhaust, from what Ive heard flowmaster dont flow very well. If you're lookin for power get dynomax, magnaflow, just something other than flowmaster. If they dont make a kit for your tahoe, get the mufflers and take it to a shop and have them fab up the exhaust pipes.

But if I had to guess, with a tune and exhaust... with those bigger tires you'll probably end up barely faster than stock.

thats what i was thinking but faster is faster so no handheld tuner is worth buying cause i have no luck out of a mail tune.
