180 thermo or 160 thermo??

Default 180 thermo or 160 thermo??

The 160 Thermostat is 55 dollars, and the 180 is 19 dollars, is there that much of a performance if any gian from the 55 to 19 dollar...?????

NO. And where the hell are you getting a 180 t-stat for $19??

that price doesn't sound right. The LS1 stats cost the same for both temps.

are the LS1 f-body and truck 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 thermostats the same/interchangable??

Pretty sure they are, up to 03 or 04.

Something's not right there...it doesn't ask engine size or anything for the 180*. That thermostat is integrated with the housing. I got the Hypertech 180* thermostat from Thunder Racing, it was about 50 bucks. Unless they're trying to phase them out and move stock or something, but I still think something's funky. Might want to contact them before you spend any cash and end up having to go through the hassle of sending back the wrong part. If that price is right, I'm gonna pick up two of them!

The guy I talked to on the phone said it was legit...... He said it would fit the 5.3 and its only $18.53 for the 180 thermo...... sounds like a deal to me.... its Hypertech brand.......so..............I think its time to order them and then sell them on ebay

It's prolly the one for a SBC, which is not the right thermostat.
