Default 175 amp mega fuse

2002 Chevy Tahoe

My door locks fluctuate up and down on their own. I am down to checking the fuses. I have a slot for a 175 mega fuse. . . . . but there isn't a fuse there. Do I install one and hope for the best??

I can't afford to blow my engine up

I want to

but I can't.

1. No, do not start adding fuses you don't know where they go. You could be connecting circuits that have open wires that could fry your vehicle.

2. There is no way in hell your door locks are on a 175 amp fuse. These two things are not related.
