160 T-Stat Install Question
#1
I'm going to change to the 160 degree t-stat this week. I don't have enough confidence in my self to do the free mod with the BB so I'm going to buy one. Do I need to pick up a gasket too? I don't remember anyone on here saying they needed to replace one after they changed the tstat. Someone told me that there may be an o-ring that keeps the seal instead of a gasket. If I do need a gasket/o-ring does it come with the tstat?
Also what should my temp gauge read after I install the tstat?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is an O-ring and it should come with it. Your temp gauge should still probably read between 180 and 190 in every day driving.
