Default 1500 HD catback help

I have a 03 GMC 1500 HD which has the 6.0 and I'm looking for a catback with a single side exit. I have heard a magnaflow on one of these trucks but I would like to know if there's any other brands out there that are a little louder. It was just a little to queit for me. It sounded good just wanted to see if anyone on here knew of any other systems out there. Thanks.

I have buckets of experiance with this type of truck and exhaust. Believe me when I tell you that the interior drone on most systems with the 6.0 is bad.
If you want loud, go with the flowmaster kit. I still have the muffler even though I no longer have the truck. Your welcome to it if you want to pay shipping.
I would recomend my last exhaust setup to anyone. I put in a magnaflow muffler that they use for the suburban so it had a real good subtle tone to it, and a 3" electric cutout before the muffler for blowing the windows out of the ricers on the passenger side of the truck. Priceless entertainment value

I'll take a look at the Flowmaster setup. Is this stainless steel? Also I have seen the 50 series muffler for my truck but the 40 series would be louder correct?

You may already know this but Magnaflow makes mufflers in several different lengths...the shorter, the louder. Maybe you've only heard trucks with the longer, quieter Magnaflows.

The magnaflow I heard was just from the standard catback with a single side exit. So I couldn't tell u if that has a long or short muffler.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but go Corsa. You won't be disappointed. They don't make a system specifically for the 1500HD, but the 2500HD crew cab shortbed setup will work. Just have your exhaust guy cut off the supplied hangers and weld new ones on since the hangers are in different locations. That's what I did. Keep checking eBay for your exhaust system.

Good luck!
