Default 15 PSI for Christmas!!

My custom lower pulley for the Whipple came in from ASP today. I figure it should be good for at least 15 lbs! I am thankful that I have poor hearing so I won't be able to hear any detonation that may arise! More boost=more power, right?

Notice they made it with 6 ribs instead of 9 like the Whipple pulley (WTF, there is no such thing as a 9 rib belt!) And they made lips on the outsides to help keep the belt in place. I am very impressed with the quality of this piece. Too bad I won't be able to use it for a while-the truck is down and out for a while-I pulled the tranny last Sat to use in my other truck.

That pulley will sure help with boost and belt slippage at the same time.Looks like Alcohol injection would be handy to for those times the Nitrous bottle is empty.Looks like you are hunting for a 10 sec timeslip next spring.

Very nice. 15psi on a 6.0 liter will be insane.
I hope to join you there some day

OK guys, I was just joking about 15 psi!! I was trying to force the response of "you must be an idiot to try and run that much with a non intercooled Whipple" I am mainly looking for better belt wrap but now I do have the option of cranking it up some with race gas at the track. Yes Whitt, I am hoping for some decent numbers next season. I am going with a 150 wet shot to start off with and some 30 inch tires vs the 28's I ran this year. And yes, I have a bud that just bought a water injection for his turbo setup and it looks awesome. That is on my list too. I have the 5.3 in my work truck now so I can haul my truck to the track and not worry about getting home if something should break! Am already getting anxious for next season.
