the trailblazer stall stalls higher in the lq9 because of the increased torque, and the 6.0 will eat more cam than a 5.3 will.

I'm a little surprised that it only ran a 16.4. I've got a 2000 ECSB 2wd 5.3. I've gone 14.57 (best, a TON of 14.6x) with an AEM intake, Magnaflow cat-back, Hypertech HPPIII, and a Yank TT3000, and that was footbraking it, as flashing the converters tends to "flash" (spin) the tires. Even without the converter it went 14.98 and 15.0x's all day. It seems like our weather and sea level altitude here make for some good numbers, but I would have expected you truck to be at least a half of a second 15.9's OR better bone stock. Stock RCSB's w/5.3 around here can dip into the 14's, no ****. I think you should be in the mid to low 14's easy with those mods.

If you don't run a 14 I would defintely have your tune checked. I ran 14.8 with alot less mods alot less.. I have a VHO with just a cat back and a mild zippy tune.. and I mean mild.. and I went 14.8 with a bed full of tools and a camper top..

Oh I no longer have the campertop by the way it just looked goofy

My baseline was from 4 passes at HRP, not to mention my first time on a track. I didn't do any weight reduction. The only thing I did was fold the mirrors in. I had spare, tailgate, toolbox, etc. on the truck when I ran. I also drove around the water box, these Toyos were brand new. I ran the tires at 34 psi. I know weight reduction, etc. will help out a lot more but I wanted to see what it'll do on the street. It also didn't help having a dirty air filter.
