with mods you better see 13s. hell with a 75shot i went 13.38 at 104 and that was on street tires and letting off the juice at 1000' mark cause of denotation. that was my old setup.

I think you're lying or the clocks were jacked.....

A normal weight 5.3L ECSB with those mods does not run mid 14s...

You really aught to give the guy useful advice instead of trying to toot your own horn. The guy will not run 13s with those mods as easily as you seem to think and if he fails at that and feels bad about his setup because YOU said he should be faster then you have done nothing but a disservice to the site.

Nelson 93
Motive 4.10s
Eaton LSD
Transgo HD

I had pretty much the same (see sig). Minus the cam, fans, shift kit. My best was 15.1@89 with the crappy preadator tune, but at about 40 degrees F and 60% humidity. 3/4 tank.

I think you should have mid upper 14's pretty easily.

Those mods, take away the tool box and you should be well in the 14's and possibly high 13's but will need a bigger stall and good traction. Then again every truck is different. There is an 05 crew cab here running 13.5 with that same cam and a 2800 converter.

assuming you also have an intake and all the other small supporting mods....i went 13.80 on the stock cam and i have less gear(3.73) on slicks. i went 14.17 on the same exact size/brand tires at full weight. weight reduction and slicks will help bigtime. you will most likely need more converter for the cam. after the headers mine only brake stalls to about 22-2300 rpm before it spins. before the headers it would stall up to 2600. i say sub 14's or high 13's wont be a problem in the right weather.

mine is RCSB and it ran what it did. what can i say. just saying its possible but remember different tracks with different alitudes effect your performance. i run at PRP in PGH,PA. its the fastest track but isnt the slowest. it seems like no matter what site im on rather it be a bike, truck or car site east coast tracks have faster times then every where else. i can only say and predict what times he would run out this area. with those mods he should see 13s here

Shawn,

With those mods you should be low 14's maybe extreme high 13's. My crew cab was running 14.2's in 80-90 degree weather with similar mods, a little less gear and a smaller cam.

Quick, yes it still seems a bit fast but that fact you have a RCSB makes a huge difference in my opinion then. You have a lot less weight than he does so that changes things alot. Especially if you run a known fast track like HRP or Englishtown etc. I can see ho wyou got your times now though

His truck being an Ext.Cab and having a 400lb tool box is gonna hurt him in comparison.

13.80 in an ecsb. factory cam, no forced induction, no nitrous and only a 2200 rpm stall. condition was damn good though it can be done. i would think a 216/220 cam would probably work better with the weight of the truck and the smaller stall though(not claiming to be a cam guru by any means). AP had to up the stall size from a trail blazer stall after he got the tr220.
