Do the 11229 and ditch the resonator. That's the first set up I ever had on mine and it sounded good

I have a 14" single 3" in/out. I like the sound a lot, different than the crapmaster everyone seems to use. It got louder over time. When it was first installed it was pretty quiet, took some time to "break in", or maybe I was just used to the open y-pipe that it had before. It has a little drone on the highway so it can get a little annoying on long trips. Stock manifolds and y-pipe here too.

I'm running a dual setup with these. Long tubes and no cats... drone is pretty bad on the highway... the thing ROARS at WOT. I'll probably end up getting bigger magnaflows. Only reason I got them was they were cheap one day on Amazon.

14" will probably give you a good rumble all the time, maybe some drone on the highway. 22" will sound like stock around town, but have a nice sound when on the gas.

Made the upgrade myself from the 14 to the 24" I believe. 14 was to loud for me with headers and no cats. But I like mine quiet...So I have one for sale as well

This is mine with the 30". As you can see its really tame until the wastegate opens. Moving more air makes it louder too, so the more power your setup has the more muffler you'd want to tone it down at WOT.
