I hate to tell you this, but that intake is for older small blocks.

Actually, the stock intake manifold that is on our trucks is a pretty good piece. It flows better than the 98-00 LS1 intake, and almost as good as the '01+ LS6 intake. Holley is coming out with a metal LS1 version soon, but most folks are skeptical about it making more power. Plus there are a couple of custom sheetmetal intakes out there, but they are very $$$ and really only good for all out race motors.

Neil, any idea how much of the 4.8 and the 6.0 will interchange ? And as for tunning, is it just a matter of getting the computer reprogrammed ?
