Default 12's

Which would be cheaper to get into the low 13 or high 12's?
a rcsb 4.8 5spd 2wd
or a rcsb 5.3 auto 2wd
the only requirement is that it stays reliable for daily use.

u have a biased opinion lol.

a cam and nitrous would get u into the 13's with either

just comes down to whether u'd like to have an auto or 5spd. i myself prefer 5spd

More displacement is always preferable for trucks in my opinion. Lets you get away with bigger cams, too.
