Default 100mm throttle body for 06' truck

I'm close to starting up my 06' truck after a long month of modifications and this is my first attempt at my own throttle body. Why hasn't any one made one this big that is a direct replacement. What am I in for?

seems like an over kill to me unless your running a pretty big blown stroker motor i would imagine loss of power in low end

so everyone including gm running 90mm stuff on relativley stock engines compared to this one have all gone overboard, killed low end torquea and lost power. It's not like a carb when too big means less signal to the carb and loss of power. no way will it be to big.

Looks good to me, if you need it, but there is a fine line between necessary and over kill. The only way to tell if you need a bigger throttle body is if there is manifold vacuum at wot in your upper rpm's, if there is then your engine is pulling for more air than the throttle body can flow and a larger tb would definitely free up some hp. A bigger tb than your engine needs wont hurt anything, but it isn't really going to give you a gain if your stock tb is flowing enough for your engines needs. It can however make low speed drive ability a little difficult. The pedal can be very touchy because at 1/4 throttle it will flow as much as the stock tb at half throttle, and at half throttle the tb will flow enough to meet the needs of a stock engine at wot (maybe a little exaggerated but you get what I mean). The only other thing i could see being difficult is tuning, but a good tuner should be able to hammer that out pretty quickly.
