Will you be running a cam? All the roller tips will do is reduce friction and prolly free up a few horsees with it. Also it will increase the net lift of your cam. If you have the stock cam (191*/190* .457"/.466" 114lsa) It will inrease the lift because, as you may know, your stock rockers are 1.7. Do a little bit of fancy figuring in this formula

intake (.457") / 1.7 = .2688
Take that number and multiply it by 1.8 and there is the net lift for the 1.8 ratio. = .483"

Do the same for the exhaust lift.

.466"/1.7 = .2741(1.8) = .493"

That will give you hp but you prolly ought to just go and get a performance cam that has larger lift and longer duration.

Not worth it IMO. GET A CAM!!!!

Oh yea and if you plan to run a performance camshaft with those 1.8 rockers, make sure that you dont put it on a cam that will make your lift > .600" with stock heads.

I had them, they caused some valvefloat at high rpm. If you get them get adjustables. You would be better off with getting a cam. Roller tip rockers have been known to cause problems with the valvetrain in the LSX type motors. I have seen it myself and have also heard it from people with the high dollar Jesels. Doesn't mean it will happen to you.

Well i got a set of jesel shaft mounts with the adjustable pushrod cup on them I guess we will see if they cause valve float or not. Valve float can be form any number of issues that were changed with the higher ratio rocker arm but we wont get into that.

Point blank if you want performance get a perfromance cam
