go online wallce racing i think and they have a header sizing calculator... or several on line
run them and see
bigger more top end lose torque and nobody make the tube long enuff casue they aint room

but for a 427 id definitely go with 1 7/8 unless u never gonna turn it over 4500

It's an 02 1500hd with a built 4l80e and 35 12.50 17s at the moment I'm not gonna be living in this county very long anyway I could honestly just run like a 227/234 cam and put some e85 in it and pass couldn't i?
