Default 09/10 5.3 vs 6.0 "TBSS" intake

Is there any difference between the 2 other than the casting number?

I picked up a TBSS take off intake but the casting number comes up as a 5.3 intake.

And is the intake seal/gasket really $100ish!?!? HOLY COW...showing part number 89060413.

That is the correct PN. You can probably reuse your old one. If you end up with a vac leak, it's simple enough to pull off and replace. BTW, you can get that gasket for $80 from sponsors.

Guess I need to see what "gasket" set up is on this LQ4, I was expecting to have individual gasket seals....and I looked at one sponsor and saw $100+, will keep looking!

What about difference between the intakes?!?!?

The gasket is a plastic spacer with rubber seals on both sides. There is one for each side of the intake.

Thanks!
What direction does the truck DBW TBs open? My cable one is from counter clockwise when looking at the cable. I was hoping to still run a cable style TB but don't want to mess up the air flow as some have seen with a car TB
