My stock stat was 186* and it was stamped right on top. I run 93 octane all the time and 17* timing at WOT so I'm not to concerned with engine knock. I would like to bump it up and try to find KR but I don't have tunning software. Lyndon did mention that he sees 1/2~to 1 mpg lost when switching to a 160* stat. I have never seen my tranny temps exceed 190* even when towing... yet. Stock tranny cooler works OK for now but that will be my next mod.
