I have a 07 Silverado classic 4.8 with 61k miles. I was wondering if I sould build the motor up a little (cam, heads, ect) or just throw a turbo on it? The truck is my dd and either way I go its getting a built tranny with a good size stall. I'm wanting the truck to be a good street truck but still put a good number down at the track.

 

Get a built tranny and slap a turbo on! Building the motor is an exercise in frustration with the baby 4.late.
