Default 07 LQ4 swap. Vids and prices inside.

I recently finished swapping an 07 LQ4 into my 02 Silverado. I couldn't find a list of prices or parts, I am posting what I did. I replaced anything that had a gasket or was emmissions related as preventative maintenance.

Simple Green degreaser $5.96
Dielectric grease In tool box already
Electrical tape In tool box already

I did have to change the oil pressure switch from the 07 motor back to the 02 style. The style used in 2002 had a single wire connector on the wiring harness. On the 2007 LQ4,it had changed to a 3 wire connector. Not realizing this until after the motor was installed in the truck, I had to purchase an oil pressure switch socket. I also had to buy a new switch because I broke the original.

Oil pressure switch,single wire connector - BWD 18971415 - $40.19
Oil Pressure switch socket, 1 1/16" base - Lisle 13250 $8.95

I am still using the 5.3 pcm because I cannot find the pcm with the 6.0 tune from Wheatley.

I will come back later to post the equipment list. And I'll post mpg averages on the new motor.
