07 l33 mods

i just got a 07 z71 with a l33 5.3l i'm putting a 03 z06 cam in it and was going to put some p/p 706 head on it then i relized it had the l33 motor.
what do yal think i should do? should i leave the 799 heads are put the p/p 706? i know my compression ratio is going to go up but dont know how much. i also will be putting 4:10s to pick back up some power from have 305/55r20s on it

i wouldnt mess with the heads.... a ported set of 706 will flow the same a set of 799s.. dont go thru the hassle.... if i were you id spend that money elsewhere, like the gears or a circle D converter..

thats kinda what i was thinkin and i dont want to have to put 93octane in it. im not really tryin to make it fast cause i have my fast truck but i had parts layin around. just want my daily to have a lil more power

If you have a weekend warrior already I'd leave the engine and internals alone. Just do some gears, stall, full exhaust, tune if you want more power and better performance. Oh yeah and you mine as well throw an HD-2 in there while your putting the stall in.
