Question 06 SSS cams tips needed?

have an 06 sss and i want to start work more on the engine. i have a KnN CAI and dauls im planning on getting my diablo programmer soon but i also want to do a cams swap but im not really sure of what im look for, or where to look for it. iv had the truck for about 9 months and im only 20 so im doing everything little by little. would this be a good option for me or should i go another route for now? any suggestions would be well appreciated

Goals? Other mods planned (like a higher stall speed converter)?

You need to give us more information if you want quality input.

personally I would look into a custom PCM tune instead of the diablo for the first mod, theres only so much a handheld programmer can do....AND if you decide to do a cam swap later on you'll more than likely need to get a custom PCM tune anyways
what are you going to be using the truck for?? DD, towing, street/strip truck...tell us what your goals are for the truck and we can help you spend your money haha

Don't waste money on a handheld programmer. Been there, done that!

look at the side spnsors>>>>>>>>>
search for "tune"
start thinking about your goals-daily driver....racer
start thinking about your other needed mods-trans, coolers, servos, torque converter
budget -jk

IMO- I dont have my mods listed, I should, I have a shift kit, cold air, stat, higher stall TC, some servos, and a tune. thats it, but the differance is huge in SOTP, you say why didnt they build it like this!
The tune being last so that you can have it made for the mods you have-it is custom.
there are threads discussing best mail order tuners I think.
