Default That's Not all Fro 05.

For more do a search perhaps under my name.
If you want the 05 fans you need to get the 34" radiator found in the 6.0 equiped trucks. You can get part numbers and prices in a search too.

Default Thanks!

the electronic or drive by wire throttles seem to be holding up well but the PCM (or ECM as some call it, I dunno whitch is the correct lingo) can really control the torque managment. You floor it but the computer only opens the throttle plate 45%. That is why the tuning is so imprortant to guys like us who want full control.

oh ok. so if you were to get a really good tune to take away the TQ mangement, then there wouldnt be a really big difference between the FLY BY WIRE(yours) vs old school cable(like mine '00). i would still perfer my '00 over the newer trucks. my dad is an master electrician, i have seen some of the best made electronics fail. i really dont like computers, they are nice when they are working fine. when they fail they are a butt. i just got through with a LAN Communications in college. i now officially hate computers!! ha.. but i want to get ls1edit and learn how to use it?? go figure.......

Default Well, For What It Is worth....

I have been on several GM forums for years and have not heard of a single electronic throttle body failure yet. I have knocked on wood after saying that.
I am now going to poll the group for such events in another post.
