Default 05 Tahoe cylinder 1 misfire need some help please

Ok so I'm working on a 05 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 liter, had a bad lifter on cylinder 1 so I pulled the head, replaced lifter. The cam lobe was wore just a little bit but nothing to major so I decided to leave it in before putting in a new one. Now what I'm wondering is if it was wore out enough to cause the valve to not open all the way which in turn would cause a misfire. I switched spark plugs, coils, injectors an no matter what still had a misfire on cylinder 1. Anybody have any insight to help me out?

Compression test it yet?

Try lowering the spark gap if they are set higher than .040.

Maybe there is still a vacuum leak too.

Forgot to mention I'll be doing a compression check on the morning, I don't have one so gonna borrow a buddy's. I put a new spark plug in there an gapped it to .35 an I double checked on the vacuum leak as well an all was good

How bad of a misfire is it? Sure its not a burned wire or cracked plug?

Well swapped cams an seems to run fine now. I'll take it for a good test drive tomorrow to make sure but I think it solved my problem
