Question '05 Ls2 Intake/throttle Body.

Looking at a real sweet deal on ls2 intake and throttle body from a '05 'Vette. Thought was to use as an upgrade on an LQ9 6 litre. Will it bolt up to the 317 heads ?? T.B. looks as though it is actuated differently, can I make this work ?? How about fuel rails etc...??? . Any knowledge greatly appreciated, Bob.

The TB is controlled differently on the LS2 so an aftermarket TB might be a better option. The intake will bolt up, but the injectors have a different electrical connection, and you'll run into front accessory drive issues just like people who swap on LS6 or FAST intakes. You can either swap to a car accessory drive or Speartech makes an idler pulley relocation bracket and them you'll have to cut down the water pump inlet neck. An SSR intake like stated above would probably eliminate the accessory drive problem. I'd like to see if the SSR intake is worth anything, but I bet it's mucho dinero and I don't have a P/N.
