Great info.... all I can do it try the larger amp alternator.....unless a 05 PCM and EPM could be swapped to an 03 model I assumed the 05 PCM would have dual fan control via two outputs. My HP tuners has the option to control them individually. Believe the F-bodies have had dual fan control in their PCM's for awhile.

I bought a 3 relay Harness from Allen In November, Nice piece. makes it real easy. I'm waiting on some 2005 fans ordered from My dealer for the 99. I already have the 34" 6.0l radiator and 145 amp alt. I can't comment on how they perform yet but does anyone know what "changes" were made to Allen's harness for the 05 fans? I don't for see a problem once you get the 145 amp alt. I may wrong.

I just emailed Allen for another harness and tune for my 03. I'm a very satisified customer.

I assume just new connectors for the fan motors. I installed my set with the LS1 version from Nelson. Had to turn the connectors around to get the fans to turn the right direction and to fit the motors. Only problem with that is they don't not snap lock in.

Thats normal operation. Fbodys will dim a bit at idle with the fans on high. Best advice as mentioned is to upgrade to the OE 145 amp alternator found on hd's and suv's.
