Default 04 silverado transmission hot message

I have a 2004 5.3 4l65e silverado with a 78mm front mounted turbo and the transmission rebuilt and beefed up to accommodate the extra power along with a 3200 stall yank ss converter it seems to me that my converter falls in and out of lock up and the transmission is heating up so far i replaced the transmission once again and put a new converter , bigger trans cooler , maxed out the misfire tables on the tune and it still did it again ... anybody have a clue whay could be cousing this ? Id hate to quit now iv done so much work on it.. could a bad tune be causing this?

That msg is bad news. By the time its illuminated its fried. You do have a or some tranny coolers right? Is your truck a single cab shortbed approximately the same weight as a corvette? If not so get a 4l80e tranny now.

Really doubt that it burnt up the tranny again the firts transmisson heated up about 15 times before it actually smelled burnt. This the first time its done it with the new transmission. . Im not concerned about replacing it just bugs me that i cant figure out why its doing that.

Yes, if the tune and specifically the trans tables are not set properly it can and will fry a transmission.
