Default 04 1500 Crew Cab Track Times

Well, made it up to HRP with the rest of the LS1tech truck guys. Good to see everyone again, btw.

Anyways, didn't weigh my truck at all, just kinda slipped my mind. Anyways, made 6 runs altogether with the best of my runs being a 14.762@90.56 MPH, with a 2.124 60 foot. Got my butt kicked all night long by The Head and his nos Nissan Titan. Oh well all in good fun. My second best run, was the last run of the night. Figured I'd close things out on a positive note. I lined up against an either late 80's/early 90's Mustang GT. Black. Don't know what he was runnin, but I figured he'd kick my butt. But I got one hell of a reaction time, .600 with a 2.141 60 foot, 14.783@90.93 and held off the mustang by at least a car and a half length, I think it was more, but I really can't remember. I should have stopped and asked him if he had, had problems but he turned off the first turn off and I went on to the second. So I don't know.

Anyways, all in all, the times are pretty much what I expected although, I had hoped for a little better. These runs were with tailgate on and up, I know I should have taken it off, just wasn't real prepared last night. But I did take my headlight out and removed some of the crap like the jack and tire iron from the backseat. All these runs were made on street tires. Mods are in my sig.

It was fun and I'm looking forward to the next time. Maybe by then I'll have more **** installed.

Good times, I've beat one of those mustang guys once and the guy didn't even stop to get his time slip. He later came over to see what i had and to find out what he ran. Come to find out that was the best he ran that night.

Yeah, I have the timeslip, but no scanner. But fear not, if you doubt it, just ask storm5.3. Zed saw my timeslip.

I actually ran 2 14.7's, a 14.8, a 14.9, one 15.0. this was my first run. And then one more where I just shut er down, cause I got wheelspin twice.
