Looking to upgrade tranny in above vehicle. I have predator now, but shifts still could be firmer. I am considering a stage one transgo kit, with a billet servo, vehicle only has 6000 miles on it. I want firmer more positive shifts, but not neck jarring. I use the 'hoe for towing and wheeling, so need to maintain that aspect of vehicle, also contimplating converter, but unsure of which to get and what stall. Please make recomendations, trying not to make a mistake. Thanks.

 

I just installed a transgo shift kit and vette servo. it realy made a big diff in my trucks shifting you can go from very firm hard shifts how i like it to not even knowing that it is installed. i think the best part is the fact that it actualy saves your tranny from band burn ups. i dont know what to say about a diffrent stall thats not my department. good luck

 

I have been told that because the Tahoe is heavier, the vette servo, will do little if anything. Can any one comment on this?
