Default 02 pcm

i got a 00 gmc sierra and i put a comp cam in it and the truck is not wanting to idle right. nelson is sending me a 02 pcm to try to fix it. my question is are the 02 pcms really that good. also will i feel any gains in swaping the computers?

when i got mine for my 2k allen said he could get better timing with the 02, if he is programming for the cam you'll probably feel a noticable difference

It was night and day for me! My truck was a dog with the 99 PCM, even after a tune. I was getting false knock every time I tipped the throttle in. Creederado and 99silver5.3 all went through the same thing. Something's different about the 99/00 PCM's. The 02 PCM made a world of difference.
