02 ecm in 99 and no battery light?

im suppose to have an 02 pcm in my truck and it has no light

that was my plan, but for the sake of conversation I was asking to pass along info to others that may not have a tune that have this issue.

This is what i did. I purchased an alternator clip from the dealer for an 02 alternator. (Part # 15306329). Then i ran a wire from the pcm Red terminal #52 to the alternator.

perfect...that is the exact info I was looking for, but what wire did you hook the redwire from pin #52 to on the 15306329? and did you still use the brown wire that was originally on hte older harness?

It should be the one in the middle. Not sure on what color it is. I'll check later after the rain stop.

I only wish we'd get SOME soon...

Yep, hook it up the same, Just take the extra wire and run it to the pin 52 on the red terminal on the pcm

I have efiliveflashscan, and when I flashed a 2002 operating system into my 99 pcm the battery light started flashing. Just an interesting FYI.
